Edgar A. Eubel, geboren 1958 in Essen, ist ein deutscher Künstler, der in Datteln und Recklinghausen lebt und arbeitet. Seine künstlerische Laufbahn begann er in den 1980er Jahren autodidaktisch, bevor er von 1980 bis 1985 Sonderpädagogik an der Universität Dortmund studierte und parallel freie Studien an der Fachhochschule für Grafik und Design in Dortmund unternahm.
Seine künstlerische Praxis umfasst Malerei, Zeichnung und Installationen, wobei er oft mit Materialien wie Pulpe, Papierbrei und Draht arbeitet, um organisch anmutende Skulpturen und Wandobjekte zu schaffen. Seit 1995 ist er mit dem Märkischen Stipendium für Malerei ausgezeichnet worden und Mitglied im Westdeutschen Künstlerbund.
Er lebt und arbeitet in Datteln und Recklinghausen.
Edgar A. Eubel, born in Essen in 1958, is a German artist who lives and works in Datteln and Recklinghausen. He began his artistic career as a self-taught artist in the 1980s before studying special education at the University of Dortmund from 1980 to 1985, while also undertaking independent studies at the University of Applied Sciences for Graphics and Design in Dortmund.
His artistic practice includes painting, drawing and installations, often working with materials such as pulp, paper pulp and wire to create organic-looking sculptures and wall objects. He has been awarded the Märkische Stipendium for painting since 1995 and is a member of the West German Artists‘ Association.
He lives and works in Datteln and Recklinghausen.
