Anna Schuster wurde 1963 in Marburg geboren. Sie studierte von 1981 bis 1983 an der Freien Kunstschule Stuttgart und anschließend bis 1989 an der Hochschule der Künste Berlin.

In ihrer künstlerischen Praxis arbeitet sie mit vielfältigen Medien – Malerei, Video, Installation und neue Medien – und legt großen Wert auf Prozesse wie Schichtung, Überlagerung und Fragmentierung. Bewegung und Zeit werden in ihren Arbeiten oft spürbar durch Rauminstallationen, Videoprojektionen oder Materialien, die sowohl Transparenz als auch Struktur bieten.

Anna Schuster lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.

Anna Schuster was born in Marburg in 1963. She studied at the Freie Kunstschule Stuttgart from 1981 to 1983 and then at the Berlin University of the Arts until 1989.

In her artistic practice, she works with a variety of media – painting, video, installation and new media – and attaches great importance to processes such as layering, superimposition and fragmentation. Movement and time are often perceptible in her works through spatial installations, video projections or materials that offer both transparency and structure.

Anna Schuster lives and works in Berlin.
